Island Heritage, the Cayman Turtle Center and the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park have given a four Cayman parrots a chance at a new life. The four birds were raised at the Turtle Center as part of the breeding programme but funding challenges prevented the release until Island Heritage insurance stepped in and funding the testing and the slow path to retraining the birds to survive in the wild.
