The Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa announces Grammy nominated Aloe Blacc is the headliner for the Second Annual Seafire Stage Beach Concert. Full disclosure here, when they asked us to live-stream the first three songs, I might have teared up a little.
Here’s the link to the event page. Share it, people! You can also see it on the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa and Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants Facebook Pages.

Last year’s Toots and the Maytals was incredible! If you click on the link and look at the posts, you’ll see what I mean. No joke! And now they’re aiming to do it again.
Aloe’s music speaks to us at Cayman Life. The vocals are awesome. The lyrics are powerful. While Aloe may be best known for the mega-hit Wake Me Up, which he co-wrote with superstar Swedish DJ Avicii, every song we’ve heard from him just gets added to the playlist.

To get into Saturday night’s beach party, free general admission tickets were offered through ticket giveaways local radio partners KISS FM and Cayrock. For more information regarding how to get your hands on one of these tickets can be found here. A special VIP section is available and attendees can purchase tickets here.
Why did they do it?
Kimpton is branching into branded entertainment events. The company says Seafire Stage is an exciting extension of Kimpton’s vastly expanding music programming and artist partnerships and it sounds like there are more to come and not just here in Cayman. They’re planning to produce more events of this scale in the coming year at other Kimptons across the U.S. and will be making announcements following Seafire Stage.
